Create or edit my membership account

To join SCL online or to register and pay for an SCL event online, you must first create a site user account.   If you have any queries before creating your online account please email or telephone 0117 904 1242. 

If you have not already created an account, please complete the form below as required.  Please note: All bookings made online require immediate payment with a credit or debit card but that we are unable to accept payment by American Express.

SCL membership costs only £125.00 for a professional member (UK and International) and £45 for a full time UK academic and provides you with a wide range of benefits - find out why you should join SCL here.  Academic membership is only open to full time UK students and full time UK academics.    When applying for an academic membership please provide your email address.    If you are unemployed and would like to become, or continue your SCL membership there is a special rate of £22.50 for a six months' subscription.   In order to apply for this reduced subscription rate please email who will send you the appropriate form.

Please note:   SCL is a body approved in the UK by HMRC and the annual subscription is an allowable deduction from earnings from employment for tax purposes.

SCL membership is on an individual basis only and is non-transferable.
