New and Improved Features on scl.org
The revamped SCL website is now interactive and more accessible - find out more here
Improved navigation and site browsing:
Recommended and related news stories, articles and training resources, are displayed as you browse. In the next month, browsing and searching by keywords will also be introduced. Consistent design elements, such as persistent log on and Tools features, mean that you can always easily find where to log on, print a page or bookmark something of interest.
Improved search listings:
All search results are now filtered and listed by content type (e.g. news, events, articles etc) to make it easier to find the information you are looking for.
Get the latest views from our bloggers. Our new blog feature, fully integrated with the site, will make the site a livelier, more responsive resource with views and insights from practitioner bloggers.
Add your own point of view:
Once logged on, you will be able to post your own comments on selected editorial items and blogs. Create a profile so you can post under your user name or anonymously.
Improved access on mobile devices:
The new site has been designed and coded to make it accessible on mobile devices so you can use scl.org on your Blackberry, iPhone or whatever, wherever you are.
Improved online CPD:
We have reviewed our online CPD courses with the aim of making them even easier to use. For example, you can now review what you got right or wrong after you have passed the course.
More RSS feeds:
We have added more RSS feeds, from a feed for the whole site, through one for just news stories, right down to feeds for specific group blogs. This means you can now stay up to date with the information you need, tailored to your own requirements.
Share items of interest on social networking and bookmarking sites:
A simple drop down list allows you to highlight our content or events on your favourite social networking sites such as Facebook or LinkedIn.
And, of course, you can still
- browse the content of every issue of Computers & Law published since 1998
- view details of all forthcoming events - and book your place online
- update your membership records and renew your subscriptions online
- view, listen or download webinars and podcasts of our cutting edge seminars and events
- fulfil your CPD requirements using our online courses
