Practising lawyers and academics probably need to be brave when contemplating the future of computer and communications law reform. The 2012 SCL Policy Forum will help engender increased confidence in the ability to grasp what lies ahead in the brave new world that begins in 2013. A fast-flowing river of change is a given for IT law, but throw in Leveson, communications and data legislation in the UK and a wide range of changes across the EU and the river turns to rapids. The contributors to the Forum are eminently qualified to guide you through the rocks.
The SCL Policy Forum is recognised as a key event in the UK for discussion of IT law reform and policy, and for communication of ideas at the highest level between academics, practitioners and industry. It provides a unique bridge between the worlds of academic teaching and research and the practice of IT law.
