It is frequently possible to see the warning signs for future problems very early in the lifecycle of an outsourcing project, and indeed it will often be the case that the seeds for future disaster are sown right at the outset of the process, and then nurtured throughout the course of the procurement process and negotiations, only then to fully bloom into awful life once the services are in train. Equally, issues arising once the contract has been signed and the services are on foot might be simply teething issues, but might alternatively be signs that the project is veering off track.

The SCL Outsourcing Group is accordingly pulling together an experienced panel to help highlight the warning signs that practitioners should be aware of at every stage of the process, and to offer some constructive suggestions as to ways in which the underlying problems can be mitigated, if not avoided!
