With the focus on GDPR, Brexit and justice reforms, it would be easy to miss important changes to contract law that should colour your approach to negotiation and drafting. In fact, it’s inevitable that you will miss things because there are so many judgments in the courts and so many other changes, keeping track is well-nigh impossible at the best of times but, well, 2017! Even the best directed keyword searches and electronic alerts will leave you deluged in dross. What you really need is someone who can spot the gold amid the dross and free the nuggets from rocks in the deepest mines so that you can dazzle your clients with gilded advice.

When it comes to IT contract law, Richard Stephens is gold prospector, miner and analyst rolled into one. His capacity to spot the important changes and his renowned ability to communicate the golden truths in a crisp and surprisingly entertaining fashion has meant that his Annual IT Contracts Updates are always sold out.

Richard Stephens' Annual IT Contracts Update 2018 will take place on 13 February at Osborne Clarke in Bristol. Further sessions are taking place on 1 February in London and 8 February in Leeds. Richard will be reviewing judgments and distilling lessons from them, spotting cases that might well affect your clients and your contracts, even though the subject-matter may be far removed from tech law, and using his unrivalled experience of working on IT contracts to suggest methods of coping with any changes . His insights make this an unmissable event at a price that no commercial provider can match.

This seminar is of relevance to both lawyers in private practice and in-house lawyers. It offers a gold opportunity to enrich your knowledge.

This essential Update event sells out every year so reserve your place now.
