With the General Data Protection Regulation deadline of 25 May 2018 fast approaching and proposals for changes to e-marketing laws in Europe (including to align fines with the General Data Protection Regulation) direct marketers need to get to grips with changes in direct marketing law.
To help navigate the interplay of the General Data Protection Regulation and e-marketing laws, including notice and consent requirements our three speakers will each bring a different perspective and insight.
• Claire Knight, Head of Privacy at L'Oreal will give in-house insight on tackling marketing law changes.
• James Milligan, of the Direct Marketing Association, will bring best practice and cross-industry insights on challenging issues such as profiling and consent.
• Krysia Oastler, a Data Protection and Privacy Associate with Kemp Little will give an overview of how marketing laws will (or will not as the case may be) change.
