Richard Stephens, Principal, LORS
With so much going on, it is hard to keep up to date - with any area of practice, let alone just contract law. But contract law lies at the heart of what most lawyers do in practice, and it does change from year to year, and we all need to know what those changes are. In fact, without a lecture like Richard Stephens' annual update, it’s inevitable that you will miss things because there are so many judgments in the courts and so many other changes, keeping track is well-nigh impossible at the best of times. Even the best directed keyword searches and electronic alerts will leave you deluged in dross. What you really need is someone who can spot the gold amid the dross and free the nuggets from rocks in the deepest mines so that you can dazzle your clients with gilded advice.
When it comes to IT contract law, Richard Stephens does all the heavy lifting for you. His capacity to spot the important changes and his renowned ability to communicate the golden truths in a crisp and surprisingly entertaining fashion has meant that his annual update is an unmissable occasion.
Richard will be reviewing judgments and distilling lessons from them, spotting cases that might well affect your clients and your contracts, even though the subject-matter may be far removed from tech law, and using his unrivalled experience of working on IT contracts to suggest methods of coping with any changes.
Attendance at this meeting is free of charge and open to all. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book a place
