Judges and Technology: Friends and Foes
E-disclosure, case management, the diverse nature of electronic evidence, e-filing and even the overwhelming number of available cases – the impact of technology on the role of the modern judge is enormous.

In this talk Sir Robert Akenhead, the judge in charge of the Technology and Construction Court, speaks about the burdens and benefits that he finds flow from technology. Given his unique perspective, Sir Robert has many interesting insights on the perils of inadequate (and overly detailed) e-disclosure, the role of technology in effective case management and best practice in technical disputes more generally.

This talk offers you a great opportunity to gain an insight into judicial thinking and the requirements of the TCC.
