Description
AI Law: what every business (and their lawyers) needs to know
Hosted and sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer
Sponsored by: RMOK Legal
If 2024 was about the “R” in “Return on Investment” on AI, 2025 is about ensuring the “R” is delivered in the right way.
The 2025 SCL AI Conference will focus on exactly this – providing a unique opportunity to hear from lawyers and non-lawyers about managing the impact of AI law on the business.
Importantly, we will look at AI law issues through the lens of how to advise businesses:
- Of all sizes – large corporate, SMEs, micro-businesses and start-ups. Diving into approaches common across each whilst also highlighting nuances that differ.
- At every level – across the C-suite, executive leadership and operational teams. With practical tips on how to view and advise on AI law and its implications at each level.
The day will be highly interactive with sessions focusing on areas such as AI regulation, use cases, commercial issues, disputes, governance, and AI literacy, so attendees actively engage with, and don’t just listen to, what matters.
Confirmed speakers include:

Baroness Beeban Kidron OBE
