BAILII Lecture

November 15, 2012

The Trustees of BAILII have managed to attract a speaker from what we must all acknowledge is the top bracket. The President of the Supreme Court is, putting arguments about political appointees to one side, the leading position in UK law. It is a considerable endorsement of the status of BAILII, and the value of its work, that Lord Neuberger has agreed to give the First BAILII Annual Lecture on 20 November. The title of Lord Neuberger’s lecture is ‘No judgment, no justice’.

Places at the Lecture are limited but you can still register to attend (register no later than 5pm on 19 November).

The Lecture begins at 5.30 pm (doors open 5 pm). It is being held at the offices of  Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, 65 Fleet Street, London EC4Y 1HS.

If the opportunity to hear from the President of the Supreme Court was not enough in itself, there are two bonuses: the Lecture attracts 1 hour of CPD and it is followed by a drinks reception.
