Many SCL members will be aware that Ruth Baker retired as SCL General Manager at the end of April after 25 years sterling service to the SCL in this role.
Ruth is succeeded as SCL General Manager by Caroline Gould, who many members will already know. Caroline has worked as the SCL’s Events Coordinator for many years and so she has an excellent understanding of the membership, the SCL systems and the ethos of the organisation.
There have been a couple of housekeeping changes necessary as a result of the change. The SCL telephone number has changed to 0117 904 1242 and the address of the SCL office is now 338 Wells Road, Bristol , BS4 2QL.
From 1 May, all SCL management and administration queries should be addressed to Caroline Gould in the first instance on caroline.gould@scl.org
We wish Ruth well in her retirement and hope that she has a very pleasant time.
