Alternative Models for Delivering Legal Services

October 28, 2015

Lawyers today, be they in-house or in private practice, face demand from their clients for the highest quality legal input with a firm expectation that that input will be more cost effective than ever before. Put simply, the requirement is to do more without charging more. To rise to this challenge, every lawyer needs to move away from formulaic thinking and embrace new approaches. Those who are willing to ask (and answer) the hard questions will reap the best results.  For instance:

(1) Are optimal results really achieved by doing more or working more smartly?
(2) How do you get clients to transform what they do so they can tap into solutions that lay dormant otherwise?
(3) Are external legal resources being used in a way that has a whiff of last century thinking, in attitude and technology?

SCL has assembled a stellar line-up of experts who will address all this and more and look at how legal services must be delivered in the future. We will deliver a 360 degree view covering the client and supplier perspectives that will ensure that you are updated on the range of alternative models for delivery of legal services that are available.

This session is highly relevant to in-house lawyers who face this pressure first-hand day-to-day as well as all lawyers, be they in private practice or otherwise, who advise them.

This event is taking place on Thursday 5 November 2015 from 2.00 – 6.30 pm at Baker and McKenzie LLP, London
