European Commission designates six gatekeepers under the Digital Markets Act

The European Commission has designated six gatekeepers: Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, ByteDance, Meta and Microsoft under the Digital Markets Act. In total, 22 core platform services provided by gatekeepers have been designated.
