The IFCLA Conference, IT Law Challenges in a Changing World: Global, Virtual, Open & Outsourced takes place in Paris on 5 and 6 June 2008. The deadline for the call for papers is 5 September but, whether presenting a paper attracts you or not, it is already time to start planning your trip.
IFCLA is a European grouping of 13 national computer law associations. It holds a bi-annual conference with the next one being in Paris in June 2008. The IFCLA web site www.ifcla.com includes more information. The site in particular includes a call for papers and speakers (deadline 5 September 2007).
SCL is a member of IFCLA so you can benefit from member’s rates. IFCLA conferences usually feature in-depth analysis of current issues with an international perspective looking at how IT legal concerns are addressed around Europe. Add that to the glories of Paris in June to make a wonderful combination!
