OGC ICT Negotiation Guide Published

The new guide, Negotiating Guide for the OGC ICT Services Model Agreement , has been written jointly by OGC, Partnerships UK and Intellect (the UK trade association for the IT, telecoms and electronics industries). It focuses on four provisions which regularly consume disproportionately large amounts of negotiation time:

  • due diligence;
  • supply chain rights;
  • termination for convenience;
  • limits of liability and indemnities.

The publishers promise that the guide will be regularly updated to reflect changes in drafting or to add new topics.  The initial edition is primarily intended for use with Version 2.3 of the Model Agreement.
