Summer Morning Meet-Up: Tea, Coffee and a Tour of the Inner Temple Gardens
Details:
8.30am arrival at 4 Pump Court Middle Temple Lane EC4Y 7AN for a coffee and a tour of Inner Temple Gardens at 9am. The event will end at 9.30am.
Description:
The SCL Women in Technology Group would be delighted for any member of SCL to join us for an informal summer meet-up at 4 Pump Court on Thursday 18 June. This is a relaxed chance to catch up with familiar faces, meet new people, and enjoy a little time away from screens before the summer break.
We will meet at 4 Pump Court at 8.30am for tea and coffee, before a tour at 9.00am of the Inner Temple Gardens, led by a member of the gardening team.
Established in 1195 and surviving both the Great Fire of London and the Blitz, the garden was selected by Shakespeare as the scene in Henry VI (1591) where the War of The Roses begins, was the original home of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and now is managed with a focus on biodiversity and beauty.
The tour is intended to be friendly and conversational, with plenty of opportunity to chat as we go, so whether you are a regular at Women in Technology Group events or coming along for the first time, you will be very welcome.
Why is this event important?
Many of our opportunities to connect take place online, but there is something particularly valuable about meeting in person when we can.
Who is this event for?
We welcome all SCL members. While the event is organised by the Women in Technology Group, it is intended to be inclusive and open, and we would be especially pleased to see colleagues and friends from across SCL.
